OUR CAFE & CAT LOUNGE

It’s a place where you can come and relax, have a cup of coffee, and browse a selection of treats and cute merchandise - all while being in the presence of our adorable and adoptable feline friends. Our cat lounge is a dedicated, cage-free environment for our foster cats who live here until they meet their furrever family. Enjoy 50 minutes of playing, petting, and cozying up with our many cats. 

Our cafe side is available to everyone and does not require reservations. You can still watch the cats from our awesome glass window.

Reservations into our cat lounge are required so we can limit how many people we have interacting with the cats as we do not want them to become stressed or overwhelmed. Each reservation also allows us to continue our mission of fostering and finding homes for our cats.

Walk-in reservations are only available if there is enough room.  We highly recommend booking in advance!

We provide an amazing, cage-free environment for the cats that reside with us and that costs money.  Every cat lounge entry fee allows us to continue our mission of fostering and finding cats homes. Your support is used to care for our foster cats, the attendants who keep them safe and healthy, and alleviate space issues at our humane society. Even if you're not able to adopt, our foster cats benefit from your love and attention while they transition.

Our partners Wood County Humane Society and Toledo Animal Rescue are in charge of all adoptions. A pre-approval application must be submitted to be considered. All applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must pay the cat lounge entry fee to meet the cats before adoption.

Visits into our cat lounge on the weekends are for ages 7 and up. Families with children ages 6 and under may book a 30-minute visit online or in person Wednesday-Friday.

We typically have around 8-12 cats in our lounge at one time. Check out our current cats before your visit!

Please do not feed them any human food. If you wish to feed the cats, please ask a Staff Member about our cat treat add-on. We have a limited supply available each day.

T&F is NOT a rescue and does not accept cats from the public. If you have a cat to surrender, please get in touch with your local rescues and shelters for assistance. If you adopted from us and need to return the cat, you MUST contact Wood County Humane Society or Toledo Animal Rescue first.

We partner with local artists, pet suppliers, and bakeries to offer a variety of accessories, toys, merchandise, and homemade pet treats for your favorite fur friend. We have grab-and-go snacks and bottled drinks such as coffee,  tea, and local baked goods (gluten-free).

Yes! We have a portable ramp available. Please email us with the time of your visit so we may have it ready for your arrival.

We have a mini parking lot available for our customers as well as off-street parking on North Main Street and East Oak Street.

Due to the large number of messages and emails, we cannot respond to everyone inquiring about a position.  All potential candidates must start as volunteers and may work their way up to a position.  If you want to inquire about volunteering, please send your resume and availability to tabbyandfidos@gmail.com.
